Vernex is a marketplace for custom wire harness and cable assembly manufacturing. Buyers upload drawings, BOMs and wire schedules. You receive confirmed Jobs that already carry a price, and RFQs to quote when a spec needs your numbers.
Confirmed Jobs arrive priced. Accept or decline — nothing to calculate, nothing to write.
Free to join and free to bid. You quote your price and nothing is deducted from it.
No certification required to register. A-620 helps, it isn't a gate.
The team previously built a manufacturing marketplace in an adjacent industry that now sends manufacturers hundreds of millions of euros in orders every year. Vernex applies the same routing to wire harnesses.

Most work arrives already priced and already confirmed by the buyer. The rest arrives as a request to quote. Both land in the same inbox, and both are yours to accept or pass on.
Jobs
Priced and confirmed
An order the buyer has already approved at a price calculated by us. It arrives with the full specification, the price, quantity and due date. You accept it or decline it. There is nothing to estimate and no offer to write.

RFQs
Your price
Some work is too specific for instant pricing: unusual connectors, long series, a drawing that needs a human eye. That arrives as a RFQ — you see the whole spec and give us your price and lead time.

Your call, every time
What you get
Demand you don't have to chase
Priced work, no sales effort
A Job arrives with the price already on it. No estimating, no offer letters, no follow-up calls to win it.
You choose the work
Every Job and every RFQ is an offer, not an assignment. Decline what doesn't fit your presses, your margins or your calendar.
Specs that are already readable
Wire schedule, connector list and quantities arrive in the same structure every time, so quoting is quoting, not decoding.
No exclusivity
Vernex is one more channel. Your existing customers, prices and brand stay entirely yours.
One counterparty
Vernex places the order, agrees the terms and pays you. No new client onboarding for every Job.
A sharper profile, sharper work
The more precisely you describe presses, wire range, connectors and certifications, the closer the incoming work sits to what your shop builds well.
What we route
The work that comes through Vernex
If your shop covers any row below, there is work here for you. Partners set out their own capabilities after registration, and both Jobs and RFQs are matched against them.

Requirements
There is no minimum size
A four-person shop with two crimp presses and a ten-line plant are both welcome. What we need is a registered company, a real contact person, and an honest description of what you can build. Selection happens per order, not at the door.
A registered company that can invoice and be invoiced.
A named contact person who answers within a working day.
An honest profile of your equipment and capabilities.
Delivery on what you accept — a Job you take is a Job the buyer is waiting for.
Commercials
Free leads, and your price stays your price
Registration is free, bidding is free, and there is no subscription. On a Job you see the price before you accept; on an RFQ you name your own. Nothing is deducted from that number — Vernex works its margin into what the buyer pays, the way Uber, Booking.com, Xometry and Protolabs do in their markets.
Payment terms are agreed per order before you commit, and Vernex is your counterparty on every one of them.

Where we work
Low-cost regions as well as Western Europe and the US
Some buyers need the lowest landed cost, others need a shop close to their plant, so we want partners in Eastern Europe, North Africa and Asia as much as in Germany, Italy or Portugal. Region, lead time and certification are filters on an order, not a barrier to joining.

FAQ
Questions partners ask first
A network of wire harness and cable assembly manufacturers that receive production work routed from buyers on Vernex — confirmed Jobs with a price attached, and RFQs when a spec needs the shop's own numbers.
A Job is already confirmed by the buyer and already priced: you accept it or decline it. An RFQ is a request for your price and lead time on work that instant pricing does not cover. An accepted RFQ becomes a Job.
From our Instant Quoter and engineers, who price a specification against wire, terminals, connectors, operations and volume. You see the full spec next to the price and decide whether it works for your shop.
Yes, you can. Send a counter-offer with your own price and lead time, and tell us what drives it — tooling you would have to buy, a connector with a long lead time, a quantity that sits badly on your line. We take that back to the buyer, and a price that is consistently off means our model is wrong for that kind of work, which is exactly the feedback that corrects it.
No. Registration, your shop profile and bidding are free, and there is no subscription.
Vernex works its margin into the price quoted to the buyer. Nothing is deducted from your side: the price you accept or quote is the price you are paid under the agreed terms. This is how marketplaces of this kind operate — the same model Uber, Xometry and Protolabs use.
Vernex. We place the order, we pay you, we arrange the logistics from your gate to the buyer, and we carry the commercial relationship with them. You deal with one counterparty on known terms instead of onboarding a new client for every Job. Direct contact with the buyer happens when the buyer asks for it.
No. Certification is a filter buyers can apply, not a condition of joining. Plenty of work, especially prototypes and industrial assemblies, carries no certification requirement at all.
No. Shops with a handful of people and plants with dozens of lines both work through Vernex. Matching is by capability, not headcount.
Only work that matches the profile you set: your product types, batch sizes, wire range, connector families, operations and certifications. You will not receive machined-part or PCB assembly requests.
No. Every Job and every RFQ is an offer. Declining costs nothing and does not affect what you are sent later.
Each Job and RFQ carries its own deadline, shown when it arrives. Jobs are offered to another shop if you let the window pass, so speed matters, but nothing is decided for you without warning.
Both. Some buyers need the lowest landed cost and accept longer lead times; others need a shop two hours from their plant. Eastern Europe, North Africa, Asia and Western Europe are all part of the network.
Neither. Vernex has no factory and no assembly line. It routes demand to partner shops and stands between the buyer and the manufacturer as the contracting party.
